One of the best designs that Saldanha bay municipality has seen in a long time according to their local aesthetics committee making us happy to be part of this stunning design. The ground floor area will have a concrete slab poured to form the large double garage and workshop space and create a material contrast between concrete and container. On either end will be a 12M container consisting of small airbnb units to create a passive income for the owners. Each unit has amble space for a small kitchenette, double bed and bathroom area. The units will all have sliding doors leading to a covered porch area (one covered by the upstairs deck area and the other an added lean-to-roof) and each will have a small private garden space to enjoy the local bird and wildlife.

There will be internal circulation into the main house area above aswell as an exterior staircase leading to a large backyard which will have a hipped roof braai area for entertaining. 
 

Walking up the internal staircase to the first floor, you enter the main opening plan living area with a wood fired fireplace to the South side of the house. This area will be constructed from steel framing and cladding to create the stunning mono-Pitch roof that will extend over the East facing 12M container. This container will have two guest bedroom spaces with a central shared bathroom.

On each end of the living space there will be a North facing deck aswell as a South facing deck which has the exterior staircase leading to the outdoor firepit area and covered braai space. 

The container to the West side will have an open plan kitchen space close to the fireplace aswell as the main bedroom with en-suite. Both the kitchen and the main bedroom will lead out onto the deck space bringing in the areas stunning views.
